  • A birds eye view of Arabuko Sokoke Forest from Nyari view point

Arabuko Sokoke Forest

The biggest forest reserve in eastern Africa measuring about 400 squire kilometers. Some very rare animal species and birds which include, the African bush elephants, buffalo, monkeys, Baboons, Water bucks etc are found. The nyari view point which gives the forest a birds eye view is the most spectacular event one shouldn’t miss while visiting the forest. It is situated about 14 kilometers from the forest’s Mida main entrance. For those who love going for picnic, the place offers a well protected picnic area that is situated closer to the view point. However no game drives can be done instead one can go on guided walking safaris, bird watching and cycling safaris.

For those who love adventure, a tree house is well built near a water hole where animals always come to drink water.

Note children below ten years are not recommended here.
