A mixture of urban and rural. The merging of the two is due to the mixed ethnic groups within as a result of the local residents and their counterparts who came in form of trade and colonialism.

Religion And Traditional Culture

Majority of people living in Kilifi County are either Muslims or Christians, although the County has several smaller religious communities as the Africa indigenious religion and Hindu.

Kiswahili and mijikenda languages are widely spoken within the county but mijikenda being the DOMINATING Culture.
